Paulina Mazurek

Paulina started the firm after years in the public defender’s office, where she learned that most clients want two things: to understand what’s happening, and to have someone answer the phone.

Paulina spent her first years as a lawyer as a public defender, carrying cases through the District and Circuit Courts in the city. She opened the firm on Saint Paul Place so she could take fewer cases and spend more time with each person.

She handles drug charges and leads the firm’s record-clearing work. Clients say she explains a court date the way you’d explain a doctor’s visit: who you’ll see, what they’ll ask, how long you’ll wait. She speaks Polish with clients and families who prefer it.
